Tandoori Quail

Ingredients :

2 or 3 Quails (800 Grams)
2 Table spoon Yog(h)urt or Curd
2 Table spoon Butter or Ghee (liquid butter)
1 Spoon Red Chilli powder
1 Spoon black pepper
1 Spoon Ginger paste

1 Spoon Cardamom powder
5 Table spoon Garlic paste
5 Table spoon onion paste
1 or 2 spoon Salt (As per your taste)
1/2 Spoon Turmeric powder

Method : 

Cut the quail into half from the middle (in two pieces).
Put aside the quail. 
Now prepare the mixture. 
Take a big bowl or pot.
First, put youghurt and butter in the pot.
Mix well the yoghurt with butter. Then add the other ingredients one by one. Mix well the whole ingredients for 5 minutes. The mixture paste is ready now.
Now, put the quail into the pot and well marinade with the mixture paste.
Put the pot in fridge for 2 hours. Take it out after 2 hours.
Now, skew the quail onto a skewer and cook in a moderately hot tandoor (clay oven) or in a preheated oven at 200°C/400°F/ Gas Mark 6 for 10 to 12 minutes or until alomost done. 
It is ready. 
Enjoy.
Note: You can also use chicken in lieu of quail and it is called an another variety of Chicken Tandoori.
